CLICKETS - Y2k9s recognition program
Y2k9s relies on the help of its members to assist with various events, such as seminars, trials, maintaining equipment, and rematting the building flooring. In the past, these activities were applied to membership requirements. Instead of penalizing those who are not able to meet the requirements due to physical limitations or time constraints, Y2K9s has implemented “CLICKETS”, which is a reward system for assisting with activities and events. |

HOW DOES THE CLICKETS PROGRAM WORK?
When assistance is needed for an event or
activity, members will be notified by the
event chairperson. The chairperson will
announce the event and how many
CLICKETS may be earned. When the
member completes the work, the chairperson
will issue the member their
CLICKETS in the form of a
coupon. The number of
CLICKETS will be predetermined by
the chairperson in conjunction with the
Board.
Each
CLICKET has the equivalent value
of $1.00 which may be redeemed for rentals,
discounts for Y2K9s sponsored seminars, and
discounted class fees.

Example 1: A member earns 6
CLICKETS
for rematting (value $6. Member
rents the building for one hour at $20
per hour. Member submits the CLICKET
(value $6) together with $14 (cash or
check) in the rental envelope. |

Example 2: A member accumulates 20
CLICKETS for several events
(value $20). Member registers for a 7
week class costing $100. Member submits
the
CLICKETS (value $20) together
with $80 with the class registration
form to the Registrar. |
Please note that every event may not qualify
for
CLICKETS.
Only original CLICKETS may be
redeemed. Copies will not be accepted.
CLICKETS
must be redeemed in the membership year they
are earned. Exceptions may be made at the
end of the membership year with Board
approval. |
