Perry DeWitt

As a full time certified professional dog trainer, Perry DeWitt brings a special knowledge of dog behavior, training, and learning theory to her agility training and teaching.  She has two Border Collies, Goose and Verb. 

Goose has qualified for USDAA Cynosport every year since 2012. In 2013 and 2015 he was a semifinalist in both Steeplechase and Grand Prix. In 2015 he took second place in Grand Prix at the New England Regional. Goose earned his ADCh in 2013, when he was 3 years old. In 2015 Verb won Steeplechase semi-finals and finals at USDAA Cynosport making him a national champion at only 2 years old. In 2016 Verb won Grand Prix at both the Mid Atlantic regional and the New England Regional as well as Steeplechase at the Mid Atlantic Regional. Verb earned his ADCh at 3 years old in 2016. He was named an alternate for the USA WAO team in 2017 and earned a spot on the 2017 US European Open team where he will compete in July. In addition to his winnings in the United States, Verb traveled to Finland with Perry and Together they earned half of the certificates needed to become a Finnish Agility/Jumping champion in just 2 weekends of competition.

In 2016, after attending many seminars and studying and training in the One Mind Dogs methodology, Perry was named a One Mind Dogs assistant coach.  She has trained with numerous One Mind Dog coaches including OMD founder Janita Leinonen.
