Alliance Therapy Dog Initial Therapy Dog Testing – July 12, 10:30am

Y2K9s is sponsoring the first (neutral location) therapy dog test. Information about the therapy test can be found on their website: Join Alliance of Therapy Dogs - Alliance of Therapy Dogs Inc. There is no rental fee for taking this initial test at Y2K9s. That fee has been waived. But you do need to sign up to take the test. After successfully completing the initial test, you will be teamed up with an evaluator to schedule the additional testing at a medical facility.

You are required to have the following information with you at the time of the testing:

• Background check completed (bring paperwork)
• Health Certificate from your vet
• The 17-page application with the appropriate sections already completed
• Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability form signed (part of the application)
• Signed rules form (part of the application)
• Your dog on a 4’ leash
• Water for your dog,
• Clean up bags

Important Information: This workshop is open for students who have taken Y2K9s’ Therapy Prep Class until June 8. Registration for everyone else opens June 9.
