Requirements: For puppies over 16 weeks and under a year. Great for all sport puppies!

Description: The brain develops at a phenomenal rate during puppyhood and adolescence. During this phase, the foundations are laid for life learning ability, health, behavior, resilience, and ultimately, later life performance. What we now know about the brain, through neuroscience, can help inform how we raise our puppies and prepare them for optimal performance and well-being.

The Puppy Brains day has multiple lectures/panel, and practical working sessions for you and your pup!

Working participants will have the opportunity to work with each instructor. The lecture/panel and practical sessions will be covering a variety of topics to help set your pup up for success in life and sport:

  • Confidence building
  • Different types of learning and memory
  • Resilience Conditioning
  • Creating training plans
  • Structuring training sessions
  • Canine Adolescence
  • And more!

The tools, tips, and games you will learn can be tailored for any sport and will be presented along with the underpinning neuroscientific principles, allowing you to go from theory to practical application in one day.
