Sometimes a bite seems to come “out of the blue,” with what seems like no warning. Whether it’s biting another dog or biting a person, in reality dogs give many clues that they are feeling more and more like biting. In this webinar Sue Sternberg will detail, through extensive video footage, the many signs that a dog is getting ready to bite—whether it’s a person or another dog.

Sue Sternberg has been involved with canine behavior for more than 3 decades. Her experiences include animal control officer, behavioral consultant at the ASPCA, shelter owner, and teacher of dog trainers. She has been involved with her own dogs in a variety of dog sports including agility, nosework, and musical freestyle. In demand as a speaker and consultant worldwide, Sue’s passion for providing quality of life for dogs in their communities is evident in her Training Wheels® program, her involvement with animal shelters, and her work towards developing protocols for safe adoptions. She is the recipient of the APDT’s Lifetime Achievement Award.
