Effective July 22, masks will be optional. However, any instructor may request students to wear a mask during class.

The approach to this class will be to work categories rather than class levels. Basic categories include heeling, jumps, position changes (static and moving), stays, retrieve and others. If the category is stay, all stays from Novice to Utility will be started and information on how to proceed will be given so the handler can move at his own speed. Handling of all Novice exercises will be introduced during the category approach.
Prerequisites: Dogs should be at least 4 months old and have a handle on basic cues such as stand, down, sit and short stay. Basic Canine Manners is a recommended prerequisite class, but not required.
