Therapy Dog International (TDI) Test Prep Workshop – Sunday 12:30pm

This is a Preparation Workshop for the Therapy Dog (TDI) Tests being offered at Y2K9s on 10/30 and 11/7 or for anyone who is preparing to have their dog tested to be a therapy dog at another location. All aspects of the TDI test will be covered with practice sessions for each element. A 6-foot leash is required. Please review the TDI Testing Brochure: TestingBrochure.pdf (tdi-dog.org).

Prerequisites: Dogs must be one-year old or older. Dogs must be working towards the required skills (does not need to be proficient) for the TDI test including: Sit/Stay (alone and in a group of other dogs), Down/Stay (alone and in a group of other dogs), Walking in a crowd, Leave it, Recall, petting by strangers, walking past another dog, walking past children.
