Therapy Dog Prep Part A – Tuesday 5:45pm – Diane Battis

Effective July 22, masks will be optional. However, any instructor may request students to wear a mask during class.

Having a therapy dog can be very rewarding for both the handler and the dog while spreading some joy and happiness. This class is for anyone who wants to pursue therapy volunteering with their dog. It will follow the requirements of Therapy Dog International (TDI), taking the students through all aspects of the test and offering practical insight into the world of being a therapy team. Y2k9s offers the TDI test normally once or twice per year.
Prerequisites: Advanced Canine Manners or the equivalent.
