Requirements: This is for dogs who have had some experience with parkour. However, it is not required that the behaviors are fluent to participate in a working spot. Anyone can audit and learn more about these behaviors, which can also be useful for other sports.

Description: This workshop is for dogs who already have some experience with parkour, but you don’t need to currently be in a class or fluent at any particular behaviors. Your dog should already have some basic knowledge of at least 3 foundation parkour skills. All dogs will work at their own skill level.

We will focus on getting 4 ft on various sizes of and heights of obstacles. We will also work on both sending to an obstacle from a short distance and building duration of holding the position. For sequencing we will practice putting together 3-5 different behaviors with flow. We will focus on figuring out line of travel for your dog and your best position to facilitate movement between obstacles.

So often when we deliver our treats, we can affect both our dog’s focus and balance. We will practice techniques to deliver treats while helping our dogs maintain balance or safely deliver treats when our dog is on an unstable or difficult obstacle.

Cost: $40 for members, $50 for non-members. Limit 8 working spots, unlimited auditing. $15 per auditor.
