Exercising your dog means so much more than letting them run through the woods or practicing the sport of your choice. Ria Acciani, MPT, CCRP has decades of experience helping some of the country’s top canine athletes perform their best. Ria will offer an introduction on canine conditioning principles to help you make your dog the best he or she can be. She will offer instruction on some basic exercises and how to use exercise to help address common underlying canine weakness and muscle imbalances. The results can increase your dog’s performance, speed, and endurance.

Ria Acciani is a licensed Master in Physical Therapy and a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner. She serves as the official physical therapist for several agility world teams including the AKC, WAO, EO, and IFCS. She has been a practicing physical therapist of people and dogs since 1997. Ria shares her home with husband David, also a canine physical therapist, three kids, and four dogs.
