Donna started agility training with a Border Collie mix around 1996, and soon after that she got her first purebred BC and started competing in agility—starting an obsession that continues today. Since then, she has had the pleasure to live with and train 6 Border Collies, a BC mix, 2 Papillons, and most recently, a Border Jack. Over the years she competed in AKC, CPE, DOCNA, USDAA abd UKI. She was also a DOCNA judge for multiple years.

Donna and her dogs have earned over 150 Championship titles in all the organizations and had the pleasure of standing on many podiums at Regional and National events in all the organizations they compete in. Her youngest dog, Cinco, at 2 years of age was a reserve on the 2025 Senior European Open team, and was on both the 2026 EO team and Senior EO team, finishing 2nd and 3rd in 2 of his runs. They got to do a victory lap with the American flag in Germany, which will always be the highlight of her agility career. Another memorable moment was when Cinco won the 2026 Incredible Dog Challenge Regional Agility (medium dogs) and overall Weave Pole Challenge, advancing them to finals.

They also enjoy running FastCAT, disc, and have earned some trick titles. When they aren't competing, her dogs enjoy walks, running in fields, chasing squirrels in the yard, cuddling on the couch, and exploring locations all over this country.
